Young Adult Programming
JQY’s Young Adult Programming aims to create a supportive and vibrant community for LGBTQ Jews ages 18-30. Open to individuals of all genders and LGBTQ identities, monthly support meetings provide a space for our members to meet in person, discuss salient issues, and provide one another with support. Facilitated by a licensed social worker, these meetings cover topics ranging from "Coming out as an LGBTQ Jew," "Community: What does it mean to you?," and “Pride and Modesty.”
These meetings are geared toward individuals coming from Orthodox, Chasidic, and Sephardi backgrounds, but individuals from all Jewish denominations are welcome. In addition to our monthly meetings and Community Programs, the Young Adult program also hosts social events and informal coffee meet-ups for newer members.
